Pastor Blames Moore's Election Loss on Alabama's Love of Pornography

"Kill the Gays" Pastor Kevin Swanson took time on his radio program Wednesday to reflect on anti-LGBTQ Alabama former jurist Roy Moore's historical loss to Democrat Doug Jones in the special election for the United States Senate - something he's blaming on the Cotton State's documented love of pornography.
"As we consider the reasons why a state would tip towards Doug Jones, we got to conclude that that state has significant sexual problems," Swanson told listeners. "Especially since Doug Jones is so in favor of sexual perversion (transgenderism and homosexuality). Evidently Alabama must have a problem with sexuality."
Pointing to stats from pornography mega site PornHub that pegged Alabama as the country's second largest consumer of online dirty movies, Swanson warned the Moore defeat could represent a tipping point in politics - all due to porn, of course, which will in turn, turn kids gay.
"Unless there is a spiritual awakening," Swanson added, "I think these conservative states are going to become liberal in their moral values within another five, 10, or 20 years. If the fathers are doing pornography, the kids are going to turn into homosexuals. The fathers will hide their sin and the children will come out of the closet with it."
Comments like these are not out of the ordinary for Swanson, who, in addition to calling for gay people to be put to death, has gone after everything from Harry Potter and Disney's "Frozen" to the institution of Girl Scout Cookies, all of which he sees as homosexual communist plots.
While most of his assertions are usually far from factual, Swanson's pornography statistics are spot-on. According to PornHub's 2016 Year in Review, Southern Red States spend the most time on average when viewing porn online. Of these states, Mississippi comes in first with an average 11 minutes 8 seconds per visit. Alabama and Arkansas were tied for second with 10 minutes 48 seconds. And Louisiana came in third with 10 minutes 45 seconds.
