Girl Scout-Hating Anti-LGBT Pastor Says Public Schools Will Turn Kids Into Transgender Communists

Radical anti-LGBT pastor Kevin Swanson took a break from calling for the death of gay people and decrying Girl Scouts Cookies for being lesbian confections to blast the country's public schools for being training camps for "transgender communists."
On Tuesday's broadcast of his "Generations" radio program, Swanson denounced public schools, whose agenda, he claims, is to turn children transgender by the time they graduate.
"The goals of the educational program for your kids in the public schools," Swanson told listeners, "the goals of the world for your children is that your kids be transgendered and communist by 20 years of age."
Later in the broadcast, Swanson moved the time frame up two years.
"Do you want your kids transgendered and communist at 18 years of age?" Swanson asked. "Is that your goal? If it isn't, then maybe you ought to bring a different vision into the education of your children."
Swanson's sentiments against public schools shouldn't come as a surprise. The rabidly anti-LGBT pastor serves as "Director of Generations" - a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families. He has also authored several popular books for homeschoolers, including "Freedom," "Apostate," "Upgrade-10 Secrets to the Best Education for Your Child," the "Family Bible Study Guide Series," and others.
Swanson is no stranger to outrageous claims. In 2013, EDGE reported that he urged listeners not to buy Girl Scout Cookies on the grounds that the 101-year-old service organization promotes lesbianism and abortion.
"The individualism of feminism has been devastating to this country. I'd say you ought to say no to the Girl Scout cookies too," said Swanson in a broadcast on his Internet radio station. "I don't want to support lesbianism, I don't want to support Planned Parenthood and I don't want to support abortion, and if that be the case I'm not buying Girl Scout cookies."
