NBC Sets Date for 'Will & Grace' Revival
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
The new season of "Will & Grace" may be here sooner than you think!
NBC announced its 2017 fall lineup this week, revealing that the return of the seminal sitcom will return to the small screen during the network's Thursday night comedy block on Sept. 28 at 9 p.m., Deadline reports.
The time slot finds the new season of "Will & Grace" returning to the Must See TV spot where it ran for most of its original eight-season run.
Earlier this month Max Muchnick, a writer and co-creator of the comedy, tweeted out a picture of a page from the new script, which involved Karen (Megan Mullally) entering a room with a monkey.
The rebooted "Will & Grace" will have 12 episodes and features its original stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally in their respective roles. The sitcom's original creators, Mutchnick and David Kohan, will serve as showrunners and James Burrows, who directed every episode of the original series, will return.
