In celebration of Pride Month, Marvel teases the release of "Voices: Pride #1," a special commemorative issue showcasing the comic's roster of LGBTQ characters.

As reported by Screen Rant, a new character and variant colors for the issue were also announced.

"Numerous superheroes in Marvel's character gallery are LGBTQIA+ characters and now they're being brought together into one comic celebrating them," reports Screen Rant. "This is the fourth special comic released this year. Marvel's Voices: Indigenous Voices, Marvel's Voices: Legacy #1, and Women of Marvel #1 have all come out already, celebrating Marvel's character diversity."

Marvel Comics favorites Mystique, Black Cat, Daken, and Iceman appear with a few little-known characters such as Northstar, Wiccan, and Hulking.

As per Screen Rant, "Creative teams have also been revealed for some included stories. There are fan-favorites like Nico Minoru and Karolina Dean, as well as lesser-known characters like Jessie Drake."

With fans urging Marvel to bring more LGBTQ representation to movie screens, this is another step in the right direction.
