Start Building Your Ark, Anti-LGBT Pastor Says God's Judgment is Coming

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

Kevin Swanson, the Girl Scout cookie-obsessed anti-LGBT pastor, is positive that America will face God's judgement for striking down sodomy laws, legalizing abortion and same-sex marriage. He just hasn't been able to pinpoint the date.

"So be assured, my friends," Swanson said in an address to followers in Cincinnati last weekend, "judgment is coming. I have no idea when it will come. Will it be 120 years from 1900? Will it be 120 years from 1890? Will it be 120 years from 1973, Roe v. Wade, the decision to eliminate hundreds of millions of babies in America and of course all around the world, same thing has happened since the 1960s? Will it be 120 years from 2015, the day on which the most powerful court in the world ruled against God's institution of marriage in one of the most radical, arrogant insults against Almighty God? When will God's judgment come? I have no idea, but I will tell you, it will come."

Right Wing Watch notes that the repeated 120-year mention in Swanson's address refers to the supposed 120 years it took Noah to build his ark before the flood came.

Should he build his own ark, one thing Swanson won't be packing will be Girl Scout Cookies.

"They should "take a big, fat, black magic marker" and "start marking out all of the references to the Girl Scouts of America on all the boxes." Swanson warned in 2013, adding that the "wicked" Girl Scouts are promoting "lesbianism" and abortion. He further called the cookies "food offered to idols."
