Watch: The Trailer for HBO's 'Looking' Movie is Here
READ TIME: 1 MIN.
HBO dropped the long awaited trailer for the upcoming movie for the canceled show "Looking."
The dramedy, which focuses on the life of three gay men who are best friends in San Fran, was nixed by the network in early 2015 after two seasons. HBO execs promised vocally upset fans that director Andrew Haigh ("Weekend," "45 Years") would direct "Looking: The Movie" to wrap up the series, which had lots of loose ends.
In the clip posted Monday, all of the familiar faces are seen: Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustin (Frankie J. Alvarez), Dom (Murray Barlett) and Doris (Lauren Weedman). Patrick's boss, Kevin (Russell Tovey) is also back with platinum blonde hair and looks like he's making another plea to be with the video game designer. Also in the mix is Richie (Raul Castillo), Patrick's part-time romantic interest.
Oh and it looks like Tyne Daly officiates a gay wedding. Of course.
Will Patrick end up with Kevin or Richie? Tune into HBO Saturday July 23 at 10 p.m. to find out!
