Bachmann: Obama's Policies on Gays and Iran to Bring on Rapture

Question: If the rapture happens before Memorial Day, is it OK to wear white?

If former US Rep. and failed 2012 GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann is correct (and when is she not?), millions of the faithful may get their mass group air-lift to heaven earlier than expected. And who's to blame/thank for this? President Barrack Obama and those pesky gays who insist on equal marriage rights. Right Wing Watch reports.

In an interview with end times evangelical radio personality Jan Markell, Bachmann blamed humanity's impending demise on the policies of President Barrack Obama that include but aren't limited to: support for marriage equality and nuclear negotiations with Iran.

"We need to realize how close the clock is getting towards the midnight hour," Bachmann told Markell, claiming that the President intends to "lift up the agenda of radical Islam."

When Markell added that divine punishment on America was also being brought on by legal abortion and marriage equality for gays and lesbians, Bachmann said "you are right." According to the former representative from Minnesota, God will soon lift his "hedge of protection" over "pagan" America "and we will suffer the consequences as a result."
