Shia LaBeouf Led Out of 'Cabaret' in Handcuffs: Calls Officer a 'Fag'

Come to the cabaret, just behave yourself.

The audience attending Thursday night's performance of the Broadway revival of "Cabaret" at Studio 54 got a completely different show when actor Shia LaBeouf was lead out of the theater in handcuffs by police at intermission.

According to ABC News, the 28-year-old "Transformers" star was seen smoking inside the theater and was engaging in disruptive behavior during the musical's first act. When asked to leave, he refused, and was forcibly lead out by police in handcuffs while shocked audience members looked on. The police report that he threatened officers and people on the sidewalk outside.

The New York Post reports that while being booked at Midtown North precinct, LaBeouf used a homophobic epithet at an officer during fingerprinting, calling him a "fag." He also reportedly said "Fuck you. I'll fuck you up." to officers while they were trying to remove his handcuffs. He also spat at the officers, which prompted them to place him in a face mask.

He was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of criminal trespassing.

BroadwayWorld notes that this isn't LaBeouf's first run in on the Great White Way. In 2013, he was fired from the Broadway revival of "Orphans" starring Alec Baldwin.
